I really enjoyed seeing Torrin’s perspective. It’s definitely refreshing to hear from a guy’s mind.
There were definitely times that I wanted to smack him upside the head. He obviously sucks at the whole communication thing. He does peg her reaction exactly. I figured we would get a lot of Torrin/Quinn scenes, but there wasn’t. They both have their own issues they need to work out.
I liked the how things weren’t rushed. I also love how Quinn doesn’t make choice based on Torrin. Torrin needed to find himself through the decisions he needs to make. I’m definitely happy with the outcome of this novella. I wanted more of this couple and I got exactly what I wanted. Love stories that don’t completely rush things make the characters so much more believable.
