I finally bit the bullet and read Shatter Me. The only reason I waited so long was because I was waiting for the last one to come out, and it has. This was the February book pick for the book club I participate in.
I liked Juliette. She doesn’t let anyone push her around even when she doesn’t know what all is going on. I’m not a huge Warner fan. He seems like a total d-bag, control freak. Adam kind of drove me nuts too. He’s too serious, and kinda sorta lies about who he is. Kenji, I freaking LOVE this guy. He’s easy going, hilarious, and seems like he has no fear.
I liked the buildup, and the world building. It seems like a pretty dismal place to live. When I got to the end, I began questioning everything! I can’t wait to see what else happens in this series.
