November Nine: A Novel - Colleen Hoover

Review

If any of you have been reading the blog for long, you know that I'm a huge Colleen Hoover fan.  And I can honestly say November 9 is probably the best fucking book I've ever read by her.  It's even a top pick for the year.  Hoover always manages to bring out the feels.  I know when I read her books I'm going to laugh, cry, and curse the world for not having as much beauty in love that she portrays on the pages of her novels.

November 9 shows so much honesty in love, grief, and learning to love yourself.  Get over past mistakes, and look for a future.  Fallon and Ben are two amazing characters that I won't forget soon, if ever.  I can't imagine going through they events the both of them have gone through.  I loved that the book takes place on the same day for 6 years.  We get a small glimpse of the years, but we know everything they've felt and accomplished.  I loved the ease Fallon and Ben felt around each other.  There was no pretending, and they could be themselves.  Share their fears, hopes, and dreams.  Everyone wants a relationship like that.

November 9 is definitely a book you should have tissues ready for, but it's not all cry-worthy moments.  Be prepared to have your heart completely full with love and emotion. I hope your heart is as full as mine after having read this.  Go after love, don't let it slide by or wait for the perfect moment.  And make sure to mark that day somehow to remember it!
