Review

One question I've been asking myself over and over: why in the hell did I not start this series earlier????  I freaking loved it.

I love all the magic, or lack there of, mystery and relationships in this book.  Celaena is trying to fin her place while competing to be the king's champion.  It means freedom for her if she wins.  There are so many moments when I would cringe at the scenes that involved bodies being found.  It's pretty brutal.

I also can't wait to see if Celaena embraces the destiny that is waiting for her. Will she turn her back on it, and will doing so put her in danger?

There are some things that I think will happen later in the series, and I can't wait to see if I'm right.  Such an amazing start to the series.
