The Dream Thieves - Maggie Stiefvater

Review

It's no secret that I love these books.  There is mystery, romance, and sometimes a touch of horror.

This installment focuses more on Ronan's story.  We see sides to him, and his brothers, that we haven't seen before.  There's a reason he's such a jerk all the time.  And it's not pretty.  While he may be wealthy, his past and current situation is pretty crappy.  Ronan seems really selfish at times, but he would do anything for his family and friends.  He finds out some things that he finds disturbing, but wants to make it better.

We also meet a new character, Mr. Grey.  He's creepy, but doesn't lie about why he is in town, and what he does.  He's pretty open for his occupation.  He may also have connections to what happens in the future.

There is so much I want to say, but can't because of spoilers.  But you must read this series.  Stiefvater's writing is beautiful and haunting.  And Will Patton as a narrator is amazing. This review was originally posted on Bookish Things & More
