Quick Thoughts on Little House Living

First I must say that the photos in Little House Living are beautiful.  I love that we get to see what the finished item looks like.  I don't normally read books like this, but I'm glad I did.

Alink has instructions on how to make so many household and everyday things.  From body wash to mixes to keep in your pantry.  Some things I probably won't try, but I may attempt to make the chest rub.  We go through a ton of Vick's in the winter to help with coughs.  I also think some of the soaps and salves would make great gifts.

I also love that she includes uses for things like mason jars and essential oils in the back of the book.  Some of the uses I knew of, but others were completely new to me.  I'll definitely be trying them out to see if they help with headaches and motion sickness.

Overall a great book about making your own items while being frugal.
