Bookish Things & More

After reading Sustained, I figured it was time to check out Emma Chase's book Tangled.  I'm so glad I did.

It was refreshing hearing from a male POV.  This is something that Chase does so well.  I was pulled into the book from the very first page. I loved seeing the the crazy stunts that Drew and Kate pulled on each other.  It was funny and almost like elementary children fighting over the last brownie.

One thing I loved is Drew knew when not to be a jerk at times, even though there were definitely moments of putting his foot in his mouth because of fear.  He's feeling things he never felt before. So it's pretty understandable.

The narration was great, and I will definitely continue this series to see what happens next.
