I have to admit. I’ve never read this book. I absolutely loved the movie growing up. I even had a dress I wore that I classified as my Dorothy dress. I really liked this, and hope to listen to it again with the kids.
I liked that I could pick up on the differences between the book and movie. They weren’t major. There was always a dilemma that Dorothy’s group came across, and I like how they figured out a way through each obstacle.
Anne Hathaway did an amazing job as a narrator. She differentiated the characters without a flaw. I loved listening to her, and hope to she narrates more books.
