I listened to this book through Audible. What attracted me to this book was that love is considered a disease. I don't think I could imagine a world without love. Oliver brought that world to life. All of the inhabitants of Portland seem robotic to me. There are just neutral, unless you are a sympathizer, of course. Then they get pretty irate. The story line was pretty slow. It was basically re-educating Lena. She has to figure out what is true and what isn't. I loved the love story that Lena is involved in. The ending left me wanting to know what happened. The narrator did a good job. Although I didn't care for her male voices. They all sounded pretty much the same. Overall, I liked the audiobook. It wasn't the best dystopian I've read, but I will continue on with the series.
